ROOTED NEWSLETTER VOL.12
The first seven volumes of Rooted asked what institutions are, how they learn, and what African ways of organising, designing and sustaining systems might teach us about governance. Gender-conscious risk. The Regenerative Institution. The loom. Ndebele geometry, Zulu basketry, Kente cloth. Those volumes were not warm-up acts for the four that followed. They were the worldview — the soil, if the metaphor holds — from which the next phase could grow. Without them, Volumes 8 through 11 would have had nowhere to root a governance capacity in anything more than technique.
